What’s it all about?
You’ll work in teams to build AI-powered systems that generate scientific hypotheses, specifically in the medical domain. You can either apply as an individual (and we'll help you join a team), or register your own ready-to-go team. We strongly encourage multidisciplinary teams—combining expertise in computer science, medicine, bioinformatics, and related areas—to foster creative solutions.
Why is this important?
BeeARD combines multi-agent systems and knowledge graphs to power AI-driven hypothesis generation and validation at scale, helping accelerate scientific progress. Our work shares common ground with Google’s Co-Scientist project, helping researchers fast-track the discovery process with AI.

For fully formed teams
If your team is complete (up to 5 people), you can proceed directly to submit the team registration form. The application should be filled out by one representative on behalf of the entire group.
For individuals or incomplete teams
If you’re solo or still looking for teammates, head over to our official Discord space where you can network with other applicants and build your team before applying.
Important to know
- We’re selecting a total of 10 teams for this hackathon.
- We are looking for teams with a mix of backgrounds—developers, AI specialists, med students, biotech researchers, and other innovators are all welcome.
- All teams will be notified of the results by April 7th, 2025.

Jury
By the end of the hackathon, your team will present a working AI-driven system that generates scientific hypotheses. Expert judges will evaluate your projects from:

- AI specialists from the tech and research community.
